Day 6 18.2.20 Bathurst

Woke to a different view this morning. Temperature got down to 16.8°c overnight.  We actually had to put the doona on.

Headed off just after 8am.  Again very spectacular views. Lots of rolling green hills, the usual sheep, cows, horses and lots of colourful birds. We also saw a few turtles. Lots of scenery photos 😆

Even had to stop for a coal train

Stopped in Merriwa to view the painted silos and have a quick walk around town.

The only unplanned stop today was in Mudgee, to get the windscreen repaired.  A stone hit the bonnet and bounced off and hit the glass 😏
We are camped at the Bathurst showgrounds.
Another storm brewing. Temperature got to 29° but cooled down fast as the storm approached.

We've had to tie the roof to a pole the wind is blowing so hard and it is POURING.

Today we traveled 437kms taking the total to 1432kms.
