View of the campground at 6.30am ↕
The golden dog outside the golden dog hotel motel.
Bridge across the Orara river
Bat colony resides by the river.
Cows grazing and misty mountain
Packed up and left a little later than normal this morning, forgot about daylight savings. We chose to go across the range instead of down the coast. It was very slow going in parts, very windy and we had a few downpours to contend with. The scenery was spectacular again.
"The cows are in the meadow eating buttercups" ♪♪♪♪Giant Tallowood, 56.5m high
Water running across the road ↕. Only a couple of cms deep 😆
Stopped in the town of Dorrigo for a walk and treated ourselves to lunch.
Not sure why they put this memorial in the middle of a small round a bout in the main road.
Chicken and leek pie with salad was delicious.
Mural on the theater.
Tile mosaic caught my eye as the light hit the tiny mirror tiles.
More scenery shots between Dorrigo and Bendemeer.
Storm rolling in.
We waited out the worst of it at Thunderbolt rocks, just out of Armidale.
Unfortunately grubs have put graffiti everywhere. Made a dash to Bendemeer when the rain eased.
Camped by the river. Still raining on and off.
Although we only traveled 275kms today it took forever. Total traveled hitched is 995kms.
