Less than a week to go

We plan to leave in 6 days. The weather gods have brought us lots of rain with heaps more predicted. We may have to delay our departure if the possibility of a cyclone comes true.

In the meantime preparations  continue.
I've finally had a chance to have a few drives in the new vehicle. I've 'girlied' the ute by putting a flowery cover on the steering wheel.

With only 3 days to go we decided to pack the back of the ute. Let the adventure begin!! It's so wet in parts of the yard that the ute sunk and got bogged. I'm glad I wasn't driving 😂
Tried digging it out  👎

After a few attempts we unpacked our new 'tracks'. That worked 👍
Nice divets to fill in.

Had a family farewell dinner at Melissas
Issac measuring his height with great grandpa.

I have chosen a rough route to the ferry in Melbourne, approx 2,200kms.
